Legal Experience: Attorney John P. Fulginiti is a Partner of the law firm of Taylor, Ganson & Perrin, LLP. For over 18 years, Mr. Fulginiti has concentrated his practice in complex litigation cases, trials and appeals in the areas of Divorce, Abuse Prevention, Child Custody and Support, Prenuptial Agreements, Will Contests, Probate and Trust Actions, Fiduciary Representation, Accounting Disputes, Guardianship and Conservatorship Petitions, and other Domestic, Family Law and Civil Litigation matters, including Criminal Defense of Juveniles and School Disciplinary Actions. Mr. Fulginiti practices extensively in the State's Trial Courts and Appeals Court, including the Probate and Family Courts, the District Courts, the Superior Courts, the Juvenile Courts, the Appeals Court and the Supreme Judicial Court of Massachusetts. Mr. Fulginiti is a former Prosecutor and former Special Prosecutor in the Middlesex County District Attorney's Office, serving from 1989 to 1992, where he concentrated on prosecuting child abuse cases as a member of the Child Abuse Unit. Several of the cases Mr. Fulginiti handled in private practice and as a Prosecutor have been profiled in newspaper accounts and articles. A number of the cases Mr. Fulginiti has argued before the State's highest court, the Supreme Judicial Court of Massachusetts, and the Appeals Court have been reported. Education and Honors: Mr. Fulginiti is a graduate of the Boston University School of Law, receiving his Juris Doctor, May 1989, where he was honored as a Paul J. Liacos Scholar. In Trial Advocacy he placed first in his class. While attending Boston University School of Law, Mr. Fulginiti competed in and finished First Place in the Northeast Regional Competition and finished First Place in the Boston University Intraschool Competition of the American Bar Association Client Counseling Competition. Mr. Fulginiti is a graduate of Tufts University, College of Liberal Arts, Medford, Massachusetts, receiving his Bachelor of Arts in Economics, May 1985. Mr. Fulginiti was honored by Tufts University as a Seniors Award Recipient, one of twelve seniors selected on the basis of academic achievement and recognized qualities of leadership. He also received the Tufts Community Service Award for outstanding contributions to community life as President of the Tufts Community Union Senate. Mr. Fulginiti was a finalist at Tufts University for the Wendell Phillips Memorial Scholarship Award, recognizing marked ability as a speaker and a high sense of public responsibility. Mr. Fulginiti is a 1981 graduate of the Buckingham, Browne & Nichols High School in Cambridge, Massachusetts and he served as Chair of the school's Alumni Council from 2009-2012.
